Dot NAME Domain Names

Launched in 2001, the Dot NAME generic top-level domain name extension is the only one meant for personal sites only. These domain names can include personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other labels people are famous by. At the beginning, solely 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you wished to purchase john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already purchased 3rd-level domains remained active.

You will be able to update the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an existing domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer code from the present domain registrar and we will renew it after the transfer has been finished.
